Plan A Visit

Sault Ste. Marie

Sault Ste. Marie (also known as "the Sault" or "the Soo") is a city located on the St. Mary’s River in Ontario, Canada. It is the third largest city in Northern Ontario, with a population of approximately 75,000 and one of the oldest settlements in North America. With many of the buildings reflecting architectural influences from the late 1800s and onward, Sault Ste. Marie is a charming, waterfront border town with lots of history and culture to enjoy. Take in the gardens and view as you stroll along our boardwalk, do some shopping in our downtown or stop for a bite and friendly service at any one of our fantastic restaurants.
