From Broadway to Sea World – from Las Vegas to Radio City Music Hall, this internationally-renowned black-light theatre company has become a proud Canadian national treasure.
Famous PEOPLE Players are a Fall Festival blast from the past returning-act, having played a sell-out show here in 1981.
Dazzling viewers in the Emmy Award-winning CBS Movie of the Week, “Special People”, Famous PEOPLE Players is a talented group of Canadian artists that boasts performances on Broadway, Phil Donahue, Regis and Kathy Lee, Good Morning America and in an episode of Aaron Spelling's award winning 7th Heaven.
Famous PEOPLE Players' founder Diane Dupuy says she is most proud when audiences forget they are watching a puppet show performed by a cast with developmental challenges. "It's pure, solid gold entertainment," she says. "The New York critics were right when they said that 'what you see is sensational, what you don't see is inspirational.'"
With dedication to helping those who are developmentally challenged, their performances include exceptional achievements from those who have dared to believe in themselves.
